News UpNOW, a digital TV focusing on Education, Community and Arts. We are a group of enthusiasts and passionate about our community and our goal is to go where major networks don’t go. We produce digital content in the Bay Area, from San Jose to Oakland, San Francisco to Sonoma and Napa Counties. We believe through education, people can acquire tools to build a better future, both for themselves and subsequential to others. Through the arts, these tools take a form in expression, creation, and communication with the audience. Both, arts and education together can transform lives. Through our Project Education program, we offer high school students the opportunity to learn how to film, research, interview, edit and post a story, showing them what goes behind the cameras and how reporters get their stories out there. We are here for local artists and beyond. We are here for you, for our community.

Our mission is to produce stories in English, Portuguese and Spanish with focus on the Bay Area.
In addition to having our reporters out there producing stories on the arts and entertainment, and bringing the latest news, NewUpNOW wants to do more for our community.

Through our “Project Education” program we offer high school students the opportunity to learn how to film, research, interview, edit and post a story, showing them what goes on behind the cameras and how reporters get their stories out there.

We are committed to bringing the studio to the classroom and working together. Our team will offer training to students who are interested in learning the business of broadcasting.

If you know of a school that wants to be part of our “Project Education”, please email us at: tips@newsupnow.org. Write “Project Education” in the subject heading.
