It’s a musical celebration of extraordinary women. Hear Her Song 2019 is the second edition of its kind, innovated by classically trained singer, Carla Canales of the Canales Project. The mission is to honor distinguished women leaders with songs inspired by their words and it’s all written by leading female songwriters and composers. The artists collaborated to create original songs to deliver new, powerful insights into the nature of women’s leadership and the challenges women face. Hear Her Song has commissioned 40 songs, honored 38 leaders, employed 65 artists and collaborated with 10 partner organization, involving 11 countries, since it’s inception in 2017.
