The San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs, through its SJ Creates and Connects program, has selected three Creative Ambassadors to bring art directly into the community.The initiative encourages everyone to create, participate, and connect. Tricia is leading a multimedia storytelling project titled “I’m, We Are — Our Stories Connect Us.” Jorge—also known as J.DUH—is taking art on the road, using a rental truck to bring not only his work, but other artists’ creations, to events throughout the city. Sisters Sharon and Tanya Benítez are behind Los Panaderos, an organization focused on Mexican folk music and dance.
