The 35th San Jose Jazz Summer Fest swung into action Friday afternoon—welcoming music lovers from near and far. Plaza de César Chávez has transformed into a vibrant “Jazz Villa” with three stages, plenty of food and drinks, and unique merchandise. Adding to the festival’s flavor—eight sculptures, each 20 to 22 feet tall, spread throughout the festival grounds. They will remain on display in and around the park through September 28. More than 100 artists will perform this weekend across nine stages—three of them are located at Plaza de César Chávez.
